Hi Suzy,

Welcome to the forum, you have come to a great place for information and support.I can send you some laparoscopy tips off the forum just let me know if you want them and i will send them privately. Not everyone goes on hormonal treatment if your doctor is skilled enough, he should be able to excise all the endo and then there is no need for hormonal treatments.I know alot of Doctors who do not believe in using hormonal treatments besides Bcp's(birth control pills)they can be a good way of keeping the endo at bay in some women but after excision is best,we are all individual and we all react to all treatments differently, the one thing that is the best for all of us is excision of the endo.It must be removed propally the first time and then you have the best chance for a good recovery,so make sure you find a good Endo Specialist,i have a list of American Endo Secialists and i can also send that off the list to you. Good luck on your Journey and i hope we can be of some support to you. Best Wishes,

Belle.
