Hello to all you wonderful women posting on this forum!! I have been reading your posts for a few weeks now as I have recently developed symptoms I believe are endo. Had an ultrasound and they found a 5cm cyst on my left ovary. Also, "something" on my right ovary. My Doc has suggested we wait 6 weeks, do another ultra to watch right ovary and then schedule a Lap. I am very scared of the Lap. I know a lot of you have gone through much more than a simple Lap-but any support would be welcomed. How long is recovery time? Doc said it would be an outpatient procedure. Do you normally go on hormonal treatment after Lap? I still hope to have kids, hopefully in the next 3 years. Judging from the posts I have read, my symptoms are realitively mild. Only severe pain day before my period, then bad cramps for the first couple days. That is it !! Sometimes bad bowel problems-which scares me the most. Thanks for the chance to "talk" and I look forward to keeping you all updated on my progress. It is so wonderful to have a place to go where people understand your feelings.
