Hello everyone, I have posted here before and have received good advice so I am asking again.Brief history-Hysterectomy with LSO April 1998.Laporoscopy for chronic pain in LLQ October 1998 Dr. found severe adhesions, Lap.April 1999 -Adhesions were found again and a barrier was applied.November 1999-No adhesions but was diagnosed with endo on the lower bowel and in the cul de sac. Dr. did not remove any of the endo.also had RSO at this time.I am not on any HRT due to the endo. I have been having diarrhea since December I had a colonoscopy done 2 weeks ago and everything was normal.I see a pain management Dr. and he is recommending that I get a second opinion on the endo. because my gyn says that there is nothing more that he can do for me.My pain management Dr. hasn't tried any pain meds other than Darvocet(Which does not help at all) because he feels that something is being missed that is causing my pain.He keeps mentioning a medication that is used for endo pain but he cannot think of the name of it.He has talked with a gyn and wants me to go see him for a second opinion. My Gyn is a very good respected Dr. in my area and I feel that if there was anything more that could be done he would do it.I am very frustrated with this situation. I have a call into my primary care physician to get his opinion. What do you all think????? Please let me know.Peggy
