A Quiet Saturday NightFrom: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Feb 26 23:00:08 2000
Hello my Dear Endo Pals! I hope everyone is feeling well this evening. I'm doing ok. Lots of percocet in me so I acutually feel nothing but high! lol I had my consult with my doctor regarding surgery. He informed me of some things I wasn't aware of. Apparently my colon is also attached to my uterus (as well as my left ovary). They have both been there since my c-section 2 years ago. News to me! Anyway, I am scheduled for a full hysterectomy on April 10th. I had to wait until then because my in-laws return on the 7th and they'll be taking care of my daughter while I am in the hospital. Also, she still has a few tests to go through for her kidneys and I wanted to be there for her and make sure things are okay before I become down and out. Meanwhile my doctor has been kind enough to keep giving me pain medication to get by until surgery. I just hope I can make it that long. There are some days when I just want to curl up in a ball and block out everything. Thank God for my wonderful Husband and my daughter, they help me get through the days. I hope all of you have someone special to help you get through your bad days. You always have me!!!! :) I'll try to do better about keeping up with the posts. I wrote one last Monday but broke one of the rules of the forum (unconciously) and my post was pulled. I'm really embarassed about that. To many drugs - brain was fogged. My doctor also put me on Danazol until the surgery. I took it for 5 days and quit. I immediately got a migrain. After researching on the internet the side effects of Danazol, I found out that people who suffer from migrains SHOULD NOT take it. I'll call my doctor on Monday to let him know that I can't take it anymore. Has anyone else had any bad side effects from Danazol? Well, I better stop rambling on and put my little angel to bed. I'm a bit sleepy myself. My husband is at a hockey game so I'll be able to get to sleep before he comes home and hits the bed snoring! lol LOVE AND HUGS AND LOTS OF SUNSHINE TO ALL OF YOU!!! Your Endo Pal in Alaska - Amy
