Surviving endometreosis and hystorectomyFrom: Annie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Feb 16 09:25:59 2000
Hi all.....I have just discovered your site and have enjoyed and hopefully learned something from all of these. I am 35 and had a total hysterectomy 6 yrs ago, 2 yrs after my twins were born, the primary cause was from endo. I did have the laproscopic surgery done prior to the hysterectomy but it kept coming back and with a vengenance. I truly believe that I didn't have any problems with this UNTIL I had a c-section and got my tubes tied in 1992. I have been prescribed 8 different homorone replacements, and they have all failed to curb the symptoms that I have been having. It has reached a point where I haven't taken any in 2 years. I know this is cruical to my body and my body is now telling me to do something....my hips and knees hurt, I bruise easily, I have made an appointment with a new Dr and I hope that he can help. Thanks for listening and take care.
