Hi Meg, My first thought after reading your message was "Get a new Doctor" If nothing else has worked believe me the Lupron won't either. The side effects (at least for me) are awful. A lot of others here agree with me on that one. Have you ever had a laporoscopy? A hysterectomy can relieve the endo pain. It just depends on how extensive the endometriosis is. I have had 3 laporoscopies over the last 10 years. I have had relief for a few years after each one. I can't do any form of birth control pills or hormones of any kind really because I get raging migrains. I just found out yesterday (via an ultrasound) that my left ovary is "stuck" to my uterus. I also have the symptoms of the endometriosis back again. I will be having a hysterectomy in April because my problem is pretty bad. But really, try getting another Gyn and get another opinion. Most gyns will at least offer a laporoscopy to see how bad things are and if they can remove any of it. I definitely do not recommend the Lupron - check into the side effects - they are UGLY! Also, check out web site http://www.centerforendo.com there is some really great information on that site. Let me know what you decide! You can email me private if you would like to talk more about this. Take care! Your Endo Pal in Alaska - Amy
