Hi all my Endo Pals! I hope everyone is feeling well right now. I myself and drugged to the hilt. This morning my daughters Dr. called to say that we have to postphone her IVP test tomorrow because her urine culture still showed bacteria. They changed her anti-biotic which is now 3 times a day for 7 days, then another urine sample and if it's okay then she'll go in for the IVP on the 28th. Then....I called my Dr. because my back pain was flat getting out of hand and I was out of pain meds. She scheduled me for an ultrasound right away. Went to that at 3:30 and guess what they found, folicles/cysts on both ovaries and (get this) my left ovary is "stuck" to the fundus of my uterus! have you ever heard of that happening!! No wonder I've been in so much pain! I was beginning to think it was all in my head but it wasn't! So long story short I definitely have to have surgery. The problem is I can't be scheduled until April. She has given me unlimited supply of pain meds until then :) There are some Dr. that care! At least my husband is understanding about all of this. He wants to plan a trip to Las Vegas the first week of April before I have the surgery. I'm all for it - a last hoorah before I get down and out from surgery. My inlaws will be back by then so they will be able to take care of Holly for me. If I had just had an ultrasound a year ago I would have found this out instead of going to 2 GP's and a chiropractor that didn't know their ass from a hole in the ground!!! DAMN MALE DRS.! Anyway...now I know what is wrong and will be getting it fixed as soon as possible. :) With any luck the hysterectomy will solve all of my pain problems (knock on wood, lol).
