Just Another DayFrom: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Feb 12 23:07:31 2000
Good evening Endo Pals! It's been a very slow boring day for me. My husband is sick and my little girl is not her usual self either. She played mostly by herself all day, my husband slept and I worked on a jigsaw puzzle all day. Thank you to everyone that replied to my last message, it's nice to know I'm not the only one that feels that way. I haven't started Dr. surfing thank God! I'm still with just one Dr. for this. My back just won't stop hurting. The period is over but the back and left ovary hurt. I've done my best to ignore it but it's just to easy to pop a pain pill. I'll be out of them in a couple days at the rate I'm going. (I only had 20 to begin with) It feels like a never ending battle. Some things I have more will power at than others. I can't seem to shake the cigarettes either. So I'm a nicotine and pain pill junky! lol I don't drink a drop of alcohol (maybe I should start and then the pain won't be so bad!! rofl :) The only proplem with the is I get sick even if I drink one beer. I don't tolerate alcohol well, but I sure to tolerate pain pills!!!!! lol :) My husband and my daugther are watching a video of Disney songs and the song on now is "Casey Junior" "I think I can I think I can" lol Ironic isn't it?! lol My little girl is such a doll. She just turned two and she's yelling "I think I can I think I can" she just cracks me up! She is so smart, I wish all of you could meet her. She's the joy of my life. She and Ralph are the reason I get out of bed everyday. I have been blessed with a loving family and wonderful friends, what more could a girl ask for? My pain is so minor compared to the things I read about in the paper and see on the news - it makes me sad to hear about all the awful things that are going on in the world. I am so grateful for everything I have (it's alot more than most people). My husband bought me an awsome chair for sitting at the computer for Valentines Day. He knows how much time I spend on this thing and wants me to be comfortable because he knows how much my back bothers me. He is so wonderful! I tell you what, it beats the hell out of a dozen roses and a box of chocolate! He buys me those throughout the year anyway :) Well Ladies, I've babbled enough. I just want to say thank you for all of your support with the pain med thing. Still waiting to see the Dr. on the 23rd. Will update you then. Happy Valentines Day to you all!!! Love and Warm Wishes and God's Blessings to all of my Endo Pals! Amy
