Re: New Here, I've got Questions! (pain)From: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Feb 7 09:48:28 2000
Thanks for all the replies I've gotten. My dr will send me to someone else (specialist) to check to make sure it isn't a bowel problem. I get really frustrated about all this. I just found out about the PCOS these past few months. I hate all these dr visits and still no answers. Anyway, if they do the surgery it will have to be during the summer or during next christmas break while I am out of school. What I would like to know is what do you do for the pain? The only thing that helps me is usually taking warm baths or laying down flat. How do you sleep when you're in pain? I was in pain all last night and maybe slept an hour the entire night. Do you ever want to cry when it gets bad but you can't because you're in public? Also, does sitting make it worse for you? I notice if I have to sit a while (and since I'm a student I do plenty of that) it gets much worse. Just wondering... Thanks for any help. Amy At Fri, 4 Feb 2000, Amy wrote: > >I am new here.
