Re: Hi AngelaFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netSat Jan 15 21:28:37 2000
my full name is angela denise phillips cindrick.....i think i have had endo for a long time.....i remember when i first started my periods and missing a week from school then my pediatrician put me on bc when i was 12 or 13, and i still had severe cramps with bc for the past 10 years, they have tried probably 6 different bc pills to see if that would help with the cramping over the past year. i came off of the bc pills in 94 to give my body a break, the cramps got worse over the coarse and the in 96 met my husband and didn't want to go on bc because we were getting married and wanted children right away (which we still don' t have) in 96 switched to a new gyn doc that for the first time every suggested endo to me so we tried the medical(narcotic and so forther) method first then in spring of 97 had my first lap and told me that i had stage 3-4 endo, after surgery and cleaning me out....thought i would get pregnant easier----boy was he wrong within 6 months after i couldn't stand the cramping, so i went on lupron for 6 months....then periods finally came back after 9 months.....started getting pregnant again, even had a hsg to make sure my tubes were open--which they were---still didn't get pregnant after that---which women are more prone to getting pregnant after that procedure b/c it opens and cleans the tubes-----i still didn't get pregnant, reminded that cramps are still awful---he sent me to a fertililty doc at uva in charlottesville----he wanted to do another lap, which i said ok----when he went end he had to unblock my left tube, which pre surgery he said he might have to tie it off, but lucky enough he got it open......after that we tried 4 insemination with fertility pills, will no success and now i went and saw another doc for a third opinion and i will not go back to him....and that is where i am now.....will be going to a pain clinic in charlottesville to get evaulated. so i guess offically since 96 that i have been diagonsised, but have had it longer i know......
