Hi Jan

Just got around to reading your message re USA Doc - it's our weekend from Thursday to Friday so out and about in the sun. Now that Ramadhan is over there are a lot more people at the village club and alot of things to catch up on. Plus my friend's mum went back to England on Friday so I've been doing my bit and keeping her chirpy (trying).

I'm British but I'd been living in Bahrain for over a year when I went to see him and he was recommended to me by an Irish midwife that lived in the building I was managing. I know live in Dubai, Jenn can help you if you need a geog lesson (only joking - she knows what I mean - don't you Jenn?). Luckily we have private company health insurance and even though most of the Docs at our Practice are Eqyptian, they've trained in the UK or Scotland. The lady that deals with ob/gyn is South African. We've already been up there for small matters like Ian stepped on a nail (silly boy) and I've had acid probs and they've all been excellent - so I have no hesitation when I feel the need to doubt that she will be anything less and if she is, the Company insurance doesn't hold us to using one Practice there's a list as long as your arm to choose from. However, when Ian told his Boss we were using the Manchester Clinic (English City) due to its close proximity he told Ian he'd picked one of the best.

Anyway back to the story : my period did come back after the Danazol finished. March 1999 finished Danazol, period came in mid June until mid September, 1999 was the last. I don't know whether to let sleeping dogs lie or whether to get it checked out as I'm in little of no pain (small twings - like ovulation). I must start writing them down to see if there is any pattern for my benefit and the Doc will probably ask as well

As for other medical problems I've had appendix out on 1st April, 1997, (no jokes about the date - plus the fact I was rushed to the Navy Hospital - and would my friend believe my now husband, she thought it was a total wind up (tee hee)) I also suffer from asthma (but not too much with the lovely warm weather here) and excema (can't spell it) and have recently finished a course for excess acid which looking back has been going on and on for over 4 years - what a healthy bunch we are eh?!?

Nita
