Re: surgery question

I went back to work a week after my surgery, well, more like a week and a half. My surgery was on Friday, and I went back Monday, 10 days later. I felt sooooo much better! But, like I may have said, the doctor removed massive amounts of endo and adhesions as well as giving me the presacral neurectomy. Now, my pain is about where it was two years ago, before I started trying to get help for it, which is controllable with over the counter medicine. Nowhere near what the pain was like before my surgery, I couldn't even stand up it had gotten so bad. I probably should have stayed home a little longer, but I'd already missed a month because of the pain, and I just had to get out of the house! Though, the doc said my soreness was from where he stripped my peritoneum and had to sew my abdominal wall back together. Good luck! You will feel lots better! I just know it! love, Stacy F Chattanooga, Tn
