Hi, Stacey, It sounds like you and Penny are still having a tough time of it. Me? I've now gone in the opposite direction. I started an injection today for chronic pancreatitis and now am wishing for "slower days". I really hate both, and it's time for another injection (I take it every 8 hours). I understand about work taking away some of the preoccupation with all these diseases. Maybe it's different with each state, but in Alabama it is really hard to live off of one income. We're not big spenders: the house takes up the most part of it, and then my drugs (diabetes and pancreatitis are expensive habits to acquire) take up a large portion too: insurance reimburses us (thank God for that!) but we have to pay up front, and the drugs are way over 1000$ per month. I'm all for staying at home, though. Especially with children, and your children are very lucky to have you there (no one I know can afford to stay at home with her children and it's a big issue when the child is ill).

Anyway, I also wanted to commend you on your sense of humor through this. You remind me a little bit of James Thurber when he describes his family, and you've had me laughing several times (I think our record on the Christmas tree was March). Hope you are able to get something down soon, and are not tiring of milk shakes...my medication, toilet paper, and preparation H are calling...perhaps now I'm the Poop Queen (ugh)! Bridget :0)
