Re: Pregancy with endoFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netTue Jan 4 15:56:10 2000
Hi Mitzi... I wish I could answer your questions, and I am so sorry about your losses...I have had no experience in that area. But I did want to welcome you and say that I am glad you found the group also...it is wonderful, and I am sure someone will have some comments for you on this subject. I was a little confused by your email, but now I understand where you were coming from earlier! You are not alone, and there is much understanding and support to be found here. << I am so excited that I have found this website!! I have some questions
that some of you may be able to answer. I have had endo and been
treated for it for the past 4 years but I am sure I had it before that
and was not diagnosed. Anyway, I have been married for 9 years and have
been pregant twice both ending in miscarriage. Both of these resulted
after I had stopped taking birth control pills. I wonder if the pills
balanced my hormones out enuf to get pg and then when the hormones wore
off I lost the babies. However this is only a theory. My last
miscarriage was in January of 99, we have been trying for the last year
to get pregnant again and I am tempted to start birth control in hopes
of it working again. For the last 2 months my doctor has been giving me
a shot of pregnyl when I ovulate but it is not working. Is she on the
right track with this? If anyone has any experience with pregnyl or with
pregnancy after taking birth control I would be extremely grateful to
hear from you. Thanks again, M.
