I would definitely start from scratch Joan. As far as the specialist, I wouldn't start with an endocrinologist unless you start with a reproductive endocrinologist, and what I've seen of that field hasn't impressed me. I would just look for a good gynecologist with a good deal of knowledge with endo and, if possible, endosal. I wish I could offer more help, but I know that there are ladies here with a lot more knowledge when it comes to treatment options.
