Joan's Latest...From: joan (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Jan 31 16:56:58 2000
Ok. You all read about my ongoing saga with my doc... I talked to the "Head of the OB/GYN Clinic" today... LOL... He has NEVER heard of endosalpingiosis, nor has he ever had a patient that still had cramps while on Lupron. "That just doesn't happen" He did look up endosalpingiosis though, and decided that it only happens to women who have had tubal ligations. I have Not had a tubal. So, I'm back to square one! I put a call in to my PCM, I'm waiting for him to call me back. I guess it's time to really push for a referral "off base." My second opinion wasn't any more useful than the first. Is it an "endocrinologist" that so many of you suggested? I am going to try to get this taken care of this week. I am so confused! I am going for a MRI on friday morning, just to see if there is something we could possibly be missing. I'm thinking that if I can get a referral to a REAL specialist, that I should probably start over from scratch. Re do the laproscopy, for a TRUE diagnosis, and go from there... What do you all think? I am just so lost with all of this. Any advice is always appreciated. Joan
