Dear Fellow Endosisters, We would GREATLY appreciate any help with promos that you are willing to give, but we ask that you PLEASE coordinate with us. We have press and media contacts in the works, and we have sent letters to government officials and are well in the process of setting up meetings with members of Congress as well as the National Institutes of Health. The BEST way for you to promote this is to use the suggested press releases and other information that can be found at the Endowalk site http://www.endowalk.org While we appreciate that you took time and energy to e-mail people with "endo" in their profiles, we are concerned about the mass e-mailing may be considered spam. This would not be good for you, as it could affect your personal account status with obgyn.net, and with hotmail.com. Also, since our web site is called http://www.endowalk.org, we are concerned that anyone who may not wish to receive e-mail like this will be offended and we will be potentially held responsible. We have much cooperation from all over the endo community and are looking forward to doing this for many years to come. We would greatly appreciate that these efforts not be duplicated, so as to not dilute our efforts. We are striving to come across as organized and "together" as possible, and want to avoid confusion in the minds of the people we are contacting. One way that those interested in promoting endo awareness participate in the quilt making. You can submit your own square for the quilt or have one made by visiting the Endometriosis Research Center web site and http://www.endocenter.org. We also wish, at this time, to stress that this is neither an EA or ERC event. We are a group of women who came together online to organize this event, and this is a separate entity from both the EA and ERC. However, both organizations as well as OBGYN.net and ThriveOnline are assisting us with promoting this event for women with endo everywhere.
