How often is a 'lump' found by an ob/gyn just something insignificant?

My doc is sending me for a mammogram due to a pea sized "something" that she felt. She is hoping it is a cyst. I am 33 years old, so a little on the young side, although I do know that 33 year olds certainly aren't immune from breast cancer. Like one of the other posters, I have also gone through infertility treatments in the past, so I am hoping that it could be related to that and not something more serious. Does this happen all the time? I don't know if this is something that happens frequently or very rarely. I am quite scared about having to go for my first mammogram - I wasn't really anticipating that until around 40 years old. Do these findings of the doctors turn out to be benign or just little inconsequential fibroids or cysts or something 90% of the time? 85% of the time?
