You're doing the right thing by going to see another doctor. Whenever you are dissatisfied with the answers you are getting, or NOT getting then you should seek a second or even third opinion if your gut instinct is telling you that something is not right.

Save yourself some trouble and missed symptom description by using your computer to keep a sort of log of what is happening and when. Track your menstrual cycle with it in case anything might be related. You might even make note of dietary changes along with changes in detergents, soaps and even locations where you've lived. Also any medication changes. Fever? Headache? Body Aches? Flu-like symptoms? Any other symptoms?

Keep detailed notes and take a print-out with you so you don't forget to tell the doctor anything and let the doctor put a copy in your file.

It is possible you have an infection, from your description that would be my first guess but I'm not a doctor.

Good Luck!!
