needle biopsy causing 'leakage' of malignant cells?

If a malignant breast tumor is encapsulated, can the use of a needle for biopsy disturb the encapsulation, and make possible the release of malignant cells into one's system?

I ask because I am immuno-deficient (Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome)and had a diagnostic ultrasound for a 1.4cm x 1.2 cm oval, moderately hypoechoic, solid mass. The radiologists scored it BiRads 5.

Because my immune system doesn't work properly, any procedure that might spread malignant cells would be undesireable.

The written recommendation from the radiologist was surgical consult/biopsy, but I was simply scheduled for a core biopsy at sonography without any discussion about my overall health. I have taken the initiative to consult with a breast oncological surgeon early next week.

What, if any, are the potential negatives for immuno-compromised women undergoing core needle biopsy?
