I have had a small 1/2 in. diameter red bump on the side of my right breast for 7 months. At first I thought it was a pimple. It had turned purplish and then back to red now. It just won't go away. It hasn't changed size at all, but it is hard in the center. Can it take this long for a pimple to heal? I went to a RN about it and she gave me some cream that did nothing. Should I be concerned? I'm just worried it could be something more serious, such as skin cancer. I'm not sure if skin cancer can occur on the breast. Thank you for your time.
