If you have concerns even after the mammos then you need to speak with your doctor. Tell him/her exactly what your concerns are and either take someone with you to help you listen or take a tape recorder or notepad with you so you can write down what he/she says. So many times we leave a doctor's office and 5 minutes later can't quite remember what they said.

It is your doctor's job to explain to you in terms you can understand what your tests mean. It is your job to let your doctor know that you do not understand what is being said to you.

As for pursuing further testing... that depends upon your medical insurance.

Good luck!
