Off and on for about 3-4 months I've noticed a bruise-like pain behind the nipple when my L breast is compressed (like when hugging my kids) I have small, easily examined breasts that I thoroughly check quite often and have never found a lump. This month (now) I am experiencing the pain just after my period ends. I don't recall if this has been the pattern. Last night I was able to express a small amount of clear discharge from that breast. I weaned my last child 1 yr. ago. I have no history of Brst CA. I am 39 y.o. Could the cause be hormonal? I have a perscription for a base-line mammogram that I recieved last month when I went to my annual gyn exam. I'll be getting that done for sure. Is this anything to cause real concern? We are going on a long awaited trip to WDW and would like to have some reassurance that I don't have something seriously wrong with me.
