PAIN IN AND SWOLLEN LEFT BREAST

I am 32 years old and in fine health condition overall. I am 5'8 and around 130 pounds. The past week, I have developed a pain, tenderness and very sore left breast which has gotten very full and heavier than the right one. It has continued for over a week and seems to be getting more sore. I have been searching with self exams to see if there are any lumps in that region, and so far, nothing. Even in the mirror, my left breast is considerably larger and fuller. I am a bit concerned because at the moment, I am living in Greece and won't be home to the States til the end of the year and nervous about the health care here. Kinldy advise if this problem does in fact sound serious. I don't recall any trauma, no bruising or even sleeping on it differently however, I am am close to having my period in the next week but have never suffered in this way prior to a period or had it start over a week in advance in just one breast.
