what is this cord in my breast?

I don't know if this is what you would call a breast nodule, or a cyst... but I have a thin, long cord like thing (that's what it feels like when I squeeze my fingers over it) in right breast at very bottom of nipple. I have had it over a year, and it has never caused me pain. It also discharges pus, exactly like a pimple when I squeeze it...what is this and is it something to worry about?p.s. I am only 19 years old, and there is a history of breast cancer in my family
