I would follow up with a breast surgeon, definitely a mammogram and ultrasound. I had a non-lactational mastitis this year and it took a long time to clear. Not the infection so much but the trauma to the tissue - now I am fine but I did visit a good breast surgeon and got a second opinion. Always good to be on top of things. Hope all goes well!
