I don't know if maybe my breasts just haven't finished developing or what, but I feel very self-conscious about the shape of my nipples - it just seems like other womens' lie almost flat against the rest of their breast except for the perky little point. Well, mine doesn't really have a perky point exactly, at least not all the time, I mean it's there, it's just not like the kind you see on TV or in movies. And I know the media usually portrays impossible human features but, I mean, a breast is a breast is a breast, right? I mean, they don't just have fake nipples being paraded all over, right? I figure it's a pretty generic body part, but mine just don't seem to follow the norm. My nipples are sort of, well, soft. They make my breasts more of a soft cone shape than they make it a rounded circle with just that little point sticking out. It's like the whole nipple (aerola or whatever it's called) is raised from the rest of the breast, sticks out. I'm sorry that I'm not very educated/well-informed about the correct terminology and what-all. but that's really kind of the point of my email. I just want to know the right facts about my body. So... what's up with my nipples?
