Dear anon- Although microcalcifications should be tested, the chance of malignancy is abbout 20%. Depending on the appearance, your particular calcifications may or may not be more suspicious. It is best to follow through with the biopsy. In general, BIRAD 4 rating is less serious than a 5, so chances are good that you will have a good report. Let us know how things turn out.
