Five years ago I had just the same symptoms together with two soft lumps in my armpit. I went through hell because I was sure I had some kind of advanced breast cancer. I went to have my breasts and armpit examined and ultrasound showed varicose armpit veins! Those two lupms are actually enlarged veins. In my case they show, but doctor explained me that they may not show. Now I feel discomfort or pain in my right breast and armpit after lifting heavy stuff. Extremly warm weather can cause discomfort, as well as bad bra. Doctors told me that I can remove the part of veint that is varicose by minor surgery, but recomended not to do anything until serious problems, discomfort or pain occur. Marina
