Hi a little background: had a routine mammo in 1/03 with a call back for an ultrasound which showed a microcalcification and was instructed to come back for a f/u in 6 months.... went last week and the radiologist noticed a cluster of microcalcifiactions in the same area and recommonded a stereotactic biopsy (scheduled for tomorrow) - my report mentioned dense breasts and a birads rating of 4 - what is the probable result of my upcoming biopsy and if it is diagnosed as malignant, what can I expect in the way of treatment - I am a 43 year old with no breast cancer in the family. thanks Leslie Bates
