I had my first mammo 2001 - showed asymmetrical density (RUQ)rt. breast. Ultrasound done, conclusion Birad 2. Mammo 2002 was normal/no changes. Had mammo 2 weeks ago -- came back asymmetrical density (Birad 0) need for further work-up. My surgeon says that he viewed the mammos (compared all 3) and that the area of density had decreased, however, the density itself had increased. Therefore ultrasound needed. I had a hyst/BSO last Oct. for dysplasia, etc. and am taking Estradiol 2mg. daily since Nov. 2002. Anyone have any experiences with asymmetrical density? Dr. -- should I get a 2nd opinion?
