nipple piercing causing problems now?

When I was about fifteen years old I peirced my own left nipple with a pin and continued to wear a "nipple ring" for at least a few months. (I really regret this now!) I cleaned both the ring and the hole in my nipple with rubbing alcohol, not knowing any better at the time. Now, I am 22 and have uneven breasts. The piercing has healed fine (at least it looks so) but my left breast is probably at least about one cup size smaller. Also, my left nipple is less sensitive than my right. This has bothered me for a long time now, and I am considering augmentation to even them out. My question is, did my piercing, cleaning the wound with alcohol and probable infection of the area (as I recall, I did feel that it may have been infected so I took it out) cause this assymetry and less sensitivity? Is it possible that my left breast stopped growing at this time? Also, will it be safe for me to someday breastfeed on this side? Thanks for any help.
