Hi.Four weeks ago I had an itch in the middle of my armpit...it's in the center...if you follow my forearm toward my armpit, it's about 1 inch before where my arm meets my chest. I felt a small little lump in there. It's quite small - less than 1 cm, and "squishy."
I brought it up to my OB, and she said not to worry about it. I've had an appointment every week for the last 3 weeks, and she said the same thing - I wouldn't worry.
Two years ago I had a small 1 1/2cm thing removed from my opposite arm - I believe it was a lypoma. It was about 3 inches from where my arm meets my chest. That wasn't anything to worry about.
The doctor said I shouldn't worry, but she senses that I'm worried, and offered a referral to a surgeon, if I want to go.
Opinions? Thanks, Kris
