Dear worried- It would not be a bad idea to get a second opinion from a breast specialist to determine if this discharge may be due to a small growth in a duct under the nipple or nearby. If the discharge is from only one breast, it really should be investigated. It is unusual for a discharge to persist for so long after the initial injury...it does not sound like you are completely reassured--and that is OK!. A second opinion should help.
