A few years ago I went to the doctor when I noticed a discharge from my nipple. Sometimes i get what seems to be dry skin on my nipples and when I was buffing the skin off I noticed a discharge. A week before that I had been injured on my nipple when my husband got "carried away", then my 2 year old son hurt me in the same spot by accident. Anyway, the Doctor had me go for a mamogram, results were normal. She gave a antibiotic to me and said that it would dry up on its own. I went for my annual the next year and mentioned that there was still a little discharge only a darker color now when I gently squeezed on my nipple. She didn't seem worried about it. Should I get a second opinion? It doesn't bother me physically but I don't think that it's normal or a good thing to have infection. I want to get pregnant again and would be afraid to breast feed.
