I am 30 years old, gave birth 4 months ago and am breastfeeding. 2 weeks ago I noticed what looked like a pimple on my left breast. It was located on the skin surrounding and NOT on the areola and nipple. I did nothing to it and about 3 days later it seemed to have dried up but left a small reddish-yellow spot about the size of a small pea in its wake. I left it alone for 3 or 4 more days, not really paying much attention to it. But after that time it hadn't gone away so I thought I would try a fungal cream for a few days (I had a spot of ringworm about a month ago on my arm and thought it could be that). That did nothing so I tried an ovc acne cream. The next day, the area was still there AND so were quite a few little red bumps around the area. Yesterday I tried ovc hydrocortisone on it. It seems to have cleared a little. It doesn't not itch, burn or feel at all irritated. It is limited to one breast. Any ideas?
