Hello Doctor, Are all armpit swellings due to cancer? I have had a bout of burning in my breasts and armpits this month. I have a history of fibrocystic breasts. I noticed that my left armpit seems to be swollen (there is no redness, just puffy) and I get some discomfort every now and then, like a pinch or an ache that comes and goes. Also is it possible to develop more fat or tissue on one side of the breast and armpit area? My left breast has always been bigger than my right breast. My last mamogram was in January of 2002 and was normal. Please respond to my post. Thank you in advance! Mary Lewis
