I have a 9 year old daughter with a swollen lymph node in her right armpit. It's about the size of a marble, doesn't move, and has been there since she was 4. Our family doctor said it was normal and not to worry. A year later I took her to a pediatrician who said the same thing. Now she has a lump the size of a marble under her right nipple which is hard as a rock and very sore. It has been there for two weeks and there isn't one under the left nipple. Our doctor says it's just her breasts starting to develop. She has been having joint pain, chest pain and headaches off and on since the beginning of the year, which has turned into a daily event for the past two weeks. She's always achy and doesn't want to do anything fun anymore. She hardly plays with her friends because she's achy or tired. This is a child who was VERY active and wanted to play soccer when she had a 104 fever! We were at the mall last week and she had to sit down because her legs were aching in the knee and hip joints. The doctor says she's going through puberty and it's just her hormones. We have a family history of auto-immune disorders. Could this be related or am I just worrying needlessly?

Thank you Tina
