I am 27 years old have have gone from a D cup to a very full DDD cup in 3 1/2 months. Since then I have also been experiencing pelvic pain (below my hips on both sides, not severe pain but an steady, aching pain at times), bloating and gas (I had a colonscopy and it was normal), fatigue, breast pain (especially in my nipples which feel like they are on fire at times), and I have not had a period in 59 days. My weight has remained steady. I did have unprotected sex at the end of January and I have had 2 negative pregnancy tests taken at 1 week and 2 weeks late after I missed my February period. I have had a history of irregular periods in the past, but I have never had these symptoms, especially the breast growth. I have been to the gyne. 3 times since January and at my last visit (beginning of March) this is the advice she gave: "Come back in 3 months. It will not kill you to not have a period for 4 months. If you haven't had your period by then, we will put you on hormones. We will go with that you are not pregnant, and I don't see any reason to order a million dollar work up or blood tests for now. As for your breasts, I don't know what is going on with them, but if they are still growing and bothering you in 3 months, I am just going to send you to a breast surgeon. I had this happend to another patient after she stopped breast feeding (I have never been pregnant) and we never did figure out why so she just had them reduced." The only test I've had done at any of these visits has been a pelvic exam. Okay, so now, this is my question: Should I sit and suffer for 2 1/2 more months or should I go to another Dr. for a second opinion? I don't feel like these things are normal, yet, I am not a doctor. Also, do you have any guesses what the problem could be?
