I have a number of issues concerning my right breast. I've always had an inverted nipple (but it doesn't always stay inverted... and when it's not it turns purple colored). About seven years ago my right nipple started discharging a red/ brown sticky fluid. My mother, at the same time, had the same problem and the doctor told her it was a small wart under her nipple and not to be worried about it. I took that advice given to my mother, and forgot about it. Since then, I've had it happen several times, but yellowish colored too. It hasn't happened for about a year or so to this date. A couple of days ago I woke up and felt a pain in my right side, outer rim of breast, under the arm. I felt there and found a small moveable lump that wasn't there the night before. I immediately ran to the doctors and he gave me an exam and told me he was 95% sure that it's a swollen lymph node and it should go away soon. I also told him about my other problems and he told me that if the nipple discharges again, then I should come back and get it checked out. Also, my muscles were sore in my right leg and then the next day it was sore in my right foot, and then yesterday and today my left shoulder blade. I haven't been really sick, although I have been sneezing more than usual. I'm 26 years old, never had a child (but miscarried once) and my mother and sisters have never had any breast problems. I don't smoke and I occasionally drink. I'm sorry if I gave you too much info, I'm just nervous and want to be sure I don't leave anything out. What do you think of my case and what should I do about it?
