Genital warts or not?

Hello, I recently went to a doctor for my annual pap test. I have been having pain in my lower adominal section. I also have not had a period for two months. When the doctor was doing the exam he checks my anus area and told me that I had genital warts. I have had whatever this is for a year now. When they first came out I was working on a farm with my dad. I was lifting very heavy materials so I figured they wer hemmorids. My boyfriend and I have been in a monogaous relationship for two years. I have researched on the computer and what I have looks nothing like the pictures of genital warts. I was just wondering if a blood test or any other type of test would show if I had this STD. And if you think that it is hemmorids or warts. Thank you.
