Re: fibroadenoma-biopsy or removal?

While I agree with this post from Alfredo Elena, I just recently had an ultrasound that determined that I had a fibroadenoma tumor myself. I am 20 years-old and everything about the ultrasound concluded that it is a fibroadenoma tumor. However, if you have ANY doubt, CP, I suggest getting a second opinion and getting a biopsy. I don't know about Alfredo Elena's response, but I think it's better to be safe than sorry. The radiologist that helped me said she was 98% sure it was fibroadenoma. Well, that leaves 2% and I'm sorry, but when it comes to breast cancer I'm not willing to take that risk. FYI, I am scheduling to get a biopsy done this Friday.
