On my yearly mammogram 3 small(3-4 mm) suspicious nodules and an intramammary lymph node showed up along with some scattered calcifications. I was listed as category 3 and it was sugested that I come back in 6 months for a follow-up. Waiting 6 months seems like an awfully long tome to me and considering the word suspicious was used that doesn't do much to aliviate my fears either. I have scheduled a time to talk with my Dr. He know that I have a history of secondary family memebers with Cancer (2 aunts, Moms sister and Dads sister plus a cousin) What kinds of things should I ask him? Am I being overly casious? If there is something negative hiding in there could six months make a diiference? I am 6 years past menopause. Thanks for your help.
