Dear "don"- Your complaints don't sound "crazy" at all. But I am curious as to why someone ordered the breast MRI when a sonogram might have provided enough information. Was this done after other tests that showed nothing? You'll need to provide more details if you can, such as whether you were treated with antibiotics, what was found at the first drainage, whether special cultures and/or tissue was sent to the lab, how soon after treatment the pain and redness returned, and so on. Will look for your answers. Hannah Brooks, MD,FACS

I had surgery done in March of 2001 for a large breast ABCs, they didn't remove any tissue because it would have been my hole breast (size 32). I am still having pain. Four months ago I felt a lump and it was getting red I call the surgeon but he was out of town, I was told to go to ER after a MRI and $1,500.00 later they said it showed nothing now 2 months later the lump is still there and it is swollen and redder at the incision site. Am I crazy or is there something wrong? How compresses just seem to make it hurt worse. Is this normal?

thanks for your time "crazy"
