I too have been having a pain in my right breast, for the first time ever. I am 59 years old, STILL HAVING MY PERIODS!!! - like clockwork, every 28 days, and am in my period now, with these pains. I did a lot of work around the house the last few weeks, and trimmed trees and thought maybe I had pulled a "breast muscle"?? The pain has awakened me at night and I took Advil, which did not seem to help, which it usually does when I have muscle ache. Rue McClanahan was on "Biography" and said that when she had a gall bladder attack the pain was in her right breast. I hope this is not it for me, but i do have a history of gall bladder disease in my family. did you find out any useful information for your problem? Over the years, I have learned that if the doctor is not familiar with your specific problem, they guess, just like we are doing now. Also, I find that when they cannot immediately diagnose, they send you out for every test known to man, and when that doesn't pan out, they cut you open for "exploratory" purposes. So I will wait to discuss this with a physician until after I have done my own investigation. This is not advice from me to you...just my own approach. Also, for your information, I have found that the size of my breasts have changed many times over the years, and that the size fluctuates tremendously based upon the time of the month and...based upon my weight!!!, so, no, you are not done growing in breast size, and no I don't think this breast pain we are experiencing is normal, at least not in my life. Let me hear from you. Linda.
