Thank you so much for your answer. I have had an MRI and discovered the tumour is small 3mm and so very likely to respond to medication. One last question; in the past couple of years I have gained a little weight (about 6 kilos), despite watching my diet and excercise, those pesky extra kilos refuse to budge could this be in any way due to the prolactinoma (or should I cut back on chocolate?) Thanks once again for your help.Gabrielle
