Ultrasound or mammogram?

Hi there.... 3 days ago I felt a small lump below my left nipple during a breast self-examination and had the GP look at it today. She doesn't think it is necessary for me to get immediate medical attention as she reckons that it could just be that my glands are a bit more obvious (there is a similar lump below my right nipple too). However we are trying to conceive on CLomid and today is Cycleday 9. The GP suggests that I could do an ultrasound first and do a mammogram later if necessary (and skip trying to conceive this cycle). I am 30 and have a 2 year old. What do you advise? Should i consult my OB first? Thanks ade
