I am 35 years old and my mother and sister have both had breast cancer. My mother was 40 and my sister was 45 years of age. I started taking regular mammograms a couple of years ago. My questions are: 1. Am I at a high risk for getting breast cancer? 2. Instead of getting a mammogram every year, is it a good idea to alternate a breast ultra-sound and a mammogram, for fear of too much radiation? Also, do you have any other information that could be of great help to me? Thank you.
