Dear Heidi-

You are NEVER "too young" to worry about a breast problem, even if it turns out NOT to be cancer! It sounds as if, at the very least, you have severly symptomatic fibrocystic breast symptoms. If you have trouble moving your arm, I would be concerned about other causes of as well, since arm movement is not affected by breast cysts in my experience. Please take steps to visit a breast specialist or general surgeon. Also, you may want to read more on this condition at http://www.imaginis.com. Again, I believe you should have this checked by the appropriate specialist in the event it isn't simple cystic condition. Good luck. Hannah Brooks, MD,FACS

I have swelling and pain in my left breast only. Sometimes the pain goes closer to my arm or up to the top of my breast. Someone please tell me what this about and can a pulled muscle cause this problem?
