Hi there,

I have had an eating disorder for about 15 months, and haven't had my period for over a year. I was anorexic for about half the time, and now I am recovering from bulimia. I am truly committed to my recovery, and have gained a significant amount of healthy weight, and am pretty close to my normal weight now. But, my period still has not resumed. I am fairly concerend that I have not had a period for htis long, and am considering going on the birth control pill. Is the pill a safe way for me to help regulate my cycle again?
